MTHFR...4G/4G
Anyone else have this mutation? I'm still trying to wrap my head around it as so much information was given to me during my appointment.
If you have this- are you worried about becoming a diabetic when you're older?
Are you getting your blood sugar checked yearly?
Also, are you on Metanx for life?
Did you have successful pregnancy(ies)?
Thanks in advance!

Re: MTHFR...4G/4G
I do. I think I have the same rare one as you? Ha ha. I honestly didn't know I had it until Dr. Pillitteri randomly said something about it to me. I've always read it on my chart at Kofinas' when you're in the room but neither Dr. Kofinas, nor Dr. B never seemed concerned enough to bring it up to me, in 4 years. I also have a ton of other issues, not sure if one outweighs the other or maybe I'm being treated for something that helps that. Who knows. I can ask though?
Also, I'm not diabetic, don't have my sugars checked. I did develop pre-e but not gestational diabetes during my pregnancy with my DD.
