Mucus Plug Question - BTDT Moms too
Does everyone always lose their mucus plug prior to going into labor?
BTDT Moms - if you did lose it, how far in advance of labor did it happen?

I lost mine on a Saturday and DD was born on Thursday. So 5 days.
Eta... I didn't notice losing my mucus plug with dd#2. I'm guessing I lost it in pieces so I didn't notice, but dd#1 was very obvious.

I was having contractions from 12:30am to 4:30 am. Bleed at 5am...Lost mucus plug at 5am also..Water never broke....Went to hospital at 5:30am and I was dilated 4cm and in labor. Had  at 4:18pm on the same day.

Not sure if everyone loses their mucus plug. I lost mine at 12:30am and the baby was born at 12:57pm. I heard you can lose it days/weeks before labor starts.

My water broke and than I lost my mucus plug about 20 minutes later, dd was born 22 hrs later.

My water broke at 6am....went to the hospital at 7am....was admitted and lost my plug around 8am.

i lost my mucous plug the day before i went into labor... three of my friends did not lose theirs. another one did, three weeks before she went into labor.

i lost my MP around 9PM and had the baby at 8 am the following day (at 37 weeks)

My water broke at 2PM and DS was born at 12AM...I got a bloody show ..but don't remember seeing the mucus plug

I lost mine with DD#1 at midnight, started having contractions, got to the hospital at 2am, was 3-4cm and had the baby at 2:42pm, we'll see what happens this time im due in 7 days!

Contractions started 11:30 pm Sunday night
Lost entire plug  at 5:00 pm Monday
Had my 2:30pm Tuesday

I never lost it(that I noticed) with baby #1 or baby #2.
I did with baby #3 and went into labor about 7 hours later.

I started losing my mucus plug almost 2 weeks before actually going into labor. I lost a little bit every few days
