Museum of Natural History - good for toddlers?
We are thinking of taking DD (2 y/o) to the Museum of Natural History. I know most stuff isn't geared towards toddlers, but just wondering if you know of any exhibits that ARE good for them.
Has anyone taken their toddler there? What do you think?

I think it's a great place to bring your toddler! I just brought my 4 year old there for his birthday. He loved it!!

we brought my 2 yo this past spring.
my advice is start on the right floor.
there is so much to see.
so we started with dinosaurs, then went to african animals...do what you think she will enjoy first.

M, we SO want to take DD too (esp. since DH is an Earth Science teacher  )...we were wondering if this year was too early, but maybe not!

I took DD there when she was a little over 2. She didn't seem to get too much out of it but loved the hall of mammal and the giant whale. She breezed through the dinosaurs which I thought she might like more but when we got home she kept talking about them - and still sometimes does, so I guess she liked it.

We went last April when DS just turned 1 and DD was 2 1/2. We had a great time!
