my 6 month old might have stomach flu
I am just getting over a terrible stomach virus. I originally thought it was food poisoning but then I got all achy and other flu like symptoms. Now I think my 6 mo DD might have it. She has never spit up her baby food before, only breast milk. This morning when I got her up there was sweet potatoes on her sheet and PJ's. She isn't running a fever but really fussy. Anyone else have experience with this? I want to cry, I feel so terrible

Re: my 6 month old might have stomach flu
The first time it happens you feel like you want to die- I know. I remember my DD's first stomach virus I was a nervous wreck- so on edge. I didn't sleep But they get over it fast. Just keep an eye on her- make sure she stays hydrated and is drinking. Not much else you can do but let it run it's course. Hope it's quick!

Re: my 6 month old might have stomach flu
All 4 of us have it. Well, I'm getting over it but all my boys are sick.
The best thing you can do for a 6 month old dealing with this is make sure she's hydrated. Try to get in little doses of milk/water when you can and tylenol for fever or body aches (even if she's not running a fever I would give tylenol to help with the aches, that was the worst part of this virus)
Hope it goes by fast and don't hesitate to call your ped. if it gets bad!
