MY cat keeps throwing up
These are not hairballs. We took her to the doc before for this , and he said she was probably eating too fast. Everything else looked ok. She hasn't done this for a while up until yesterday. She threw up all of her food. I could tell that she didn't chew ANY of it. She must have just inhaled it! The vet says to divide her food into 4 feedings so she won't eat so fast. She still threw up twice today. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Another problem is that my dog keeps eating it I am not always there when the cat throws up, but I notice the spot on the carpet or floor that the dog has licked up. I know my dog ate it because I've caught him doing it before. That's just gross! I clean it right up when I know she did it, but I don't know what to do about the other times.

Re: MY cat keeps throwing up
I could have written this! I have the same problem, including the dog helping me clean it up when I don't get there first.
My vet said it could be a hairball blockage or she could just be a fat girl and inhaling her food. He gave me some hairball goop to give her which seemed to help(same stuff you can get at any pet store). I think the problem is that she is a fat *** and doesn't stop to chew. I did switch her to Iams hairball formula, and the throwing up is rare now.
Good Luck.
