my dad made us a new kitchen table- with pics!
I'm so excited, my dad finished our new kitchen table. Our old one was too small for the space and we wanted something a little bigger and chunkier so he made this. He is also going to be making us to backless benches that can slide right underneath. The first picture is of the old, smaller table and the next three our the new one. You can see with the new table how small our existing bench now looks.

it looks really nice.
has it been stained yet?
I ask b/c the table is lovely, and with your pendant lamps and the floor, I think it would look EVEN BETTER a darker stain. both the lamps and the floor would pop...right now, the table is almost lost b/c it is so close to the floor.
again, it's a really nice table and a great job..

Are you planning on keeping it the light wood color, staining it darker or painting it?

Are you planning on keeping it the light wood color, staining it darker or painting it?
I would actually like it to be stained a little darker, but DH really prefers it light so that it contrasts our darker cabinets. I think we may just do a clear coat to seal it.
