My Daughter is almost 4 Months and TALL (long)..QUESTION ABOUT THE EXERSAUCER

Hi,

My DD will grow out of her bouncy and swing SOON. She is almost 4 mos and 27" long and 17 and 1/2 pounds. I was going to start thinking of taking the exersaucer out soon but I see there is a max height of 30". Since she is already 27" do you think an Exersaucer is worth it or shall I return it? Isn't an Exersaucer the next thing to use at her age?

I am tiny, only 5'0 and my DH is 6'1...we know where her height is coming from!

We put our DD in the Exersaucer at the same age. She was tall too, 26 inches . She used her Exersaucer until about 8 months.

my ds is the same age and also 27 inch, take out the exersaucer now! I gave it to him weeks ago and had to adjust the thing higher for him bc he is so long

My DS was 29 inches at 5 months. We actually started using it at that time. I was wondering if he would only use it for a month or two.

He was 32 inches when he stopped going in it all the time. By that point he was pulling himself up on it and playing with the toys from the outside. We finally put it away when he was about 14 or 15 months.

I took it out already and my DS will be 4 months on October 3rd

We took it out the week she turned 4 months...she loves it!!!
We put her in it in the morning now and sometimes in the evening...she is 7 months now and a GOD sent, after the swing and bouncer was packed up we only had the exersaucer.

edited to add, DD was the same length as your child. she was fine with it

I would not return it! you can start using it :) You could put a hand towel or a small blanket behind her back to help sturdy her. We started putting DD in her exersaucer and then jumper at around 4 1/2 months. She loved it! She's also a "tall" girl. I think they start slowing down a little around that age as far as height. Don't return it! You'll want it when you need to run to the bathroom and want to keep her happy...haha!

ohh no, we haven't really used ours yet and DD will be 3 months tomorrow and almost 26 inches already, we better start getting some use out if it.

I took it out for my DD when she was 4 months and it was fine! I would take it out.

I started putting my dd in it around 3-- 1/2 months and I put a phone book underneath until she was tall enough.

My son was in his when he was 3 months old, he loved it and he's also tall for his age.
