What a story Beth.... I can't believe you went thru all of that. I am sorry to hear of all the complications, but thank GOD everything turned out OK. She is beautiful!! I hope you are feeling better everyday! Congrats to you and DH!!! All the best!!!

You went through so much and just reading your words,reminds us all just how strong a mothers love and devotion can be.
Your little girl is beautiful!
Just as a sidenote - I am at 38 weeks but have been addmitted to NSUH (Lippert Unit) twice already for Anemia and transfusions. I opted to get the transfusions and I am so glad I did,I felt like a new person. If you have any fears- you can have your family members give you blood and even bank it if you or the baby should need it. No fee,they just use it after a certain time for someone else,if you don't end up needing it. Thats what we did.

Thanks so much! In hindsight I should have just gotten the transfusion.Im going to talk to my family and Dr. about banking the blood too. Thats really helpful to know.

and thanks for the compliment on her name! My DH said he liked it before I even had a chance to bring it up - it was my great grandmother's name
