only a matter of time - unfortunately, most people are killed by people they know. In a way, I hope it was quick, but based on the description given by police, it wasn't. My heart aches for her parents.

BODY IDENTIFIED AS MISSING TEACHER
Police have confirmed that the body found in a wooded area near the North Hills Country Club Wednesday is that of missing teacher Leah Walsh. William Walsh, her husband, has been arrested and charged with murder.
Walsh, 29, was reported missing after failing to arrive Monday at the Glen Cove school where she teaches. Her car had been found abandoned with a flat tire along the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, about 13 miles from the country club.

When I first ready the story I told DW that he was guilty. Nothing in the story made sense. What a shame.

Oh wow I hope he had a good reason to take her precious life. I watched that video he didnt seem sincere enough and the story he told didn't jive.
My heart goes out to her family. They must be devastated.
There IS no good reason to take her precious life. May he rot with the animals.

Yea, i saw it on the info bar on news12. They said body is hers, and husband has been arrested. I knew it, i said it from the beginning. So sad. I will be saying special prayers for her and her family. May they have love, support, and strength to get through this. May she rest in peace.

I'm so sad about this story and my heart is breaking for this poor woman and her family.
I've watched the husband's "plea" 3x now. I dont' believe anything he is saying and IMO he def. did it. HE isn't making any contact whatsoever and keeps looking to the left. I know when it comes to remembering things if person looks to left then they are making things up.
Also his brother was questioned by reporters and he keeps looking up and away from everyone when he answers the quesitons.
He was "crying" but his eyes were not. His eyes were totally dry and very unemotional for all the boo hoos....

this is heartbreaking. i was actually hoping she was someone that was just too stressed and ran away. My heart breaks for that poor family. How could a husband of all people do that no matter what the circumstance was. That poor girl

This story has me sick. I drive by the spot where her car was twice every single day. I don't understand how someone could do that to someone they love.
I've heard stories about what was done to the body, but I don't know if they're true. One seems possible, the other is kind of far fatched IMO.

This story is so heartbreaking. No one deserves what happaned to her. My hear goes out to her family. Its such a terrible and sad story. How do they explain that to the students in her school?
