my grandma passed away this morning
I am devestated. I was her first born grandchild and we were so close. I am so upset that she will never get to meet Grace--the little girl who will carry her name.

I am so sorry. I know how painful it can be. I was in the same position with my grandmother. I was her first born, and my daughter is named after her. She passed when I was 5 months preggo with DD. It is painful, and sometimes still confusing as to why they couldn't exist together. I can tell you that with time it gets easier. I will pray for you and your family and I am so sorry for your loss.

Oh Kathleen.... I am so very sorry for your loss.....
And I don't know what you believe, but I believe that my great-grandmother - where I was her first great-granddaughter and was SUPER close with.... sees my daughter allllllllllllll the time....
My daughter's middle name is my great's first name.....
