My IVF Journal: Come on Number Two!!! Updated after transfer!
I did this last time and it was a good way for me to watch my progress - so here we go!

My RE: Dr. Brenner at LI IVF
Due to health issues before we started dating, DH has no sperm production at all. Luckily, before he began chemotherapy, he froze one sample of sperm. It is enough for 3 fresh IVF cycles, but unfortunately, it is all that we have.
First IVF: May 2011. We retrieved 6 eggs, 5 of which mature and 2 of those fertilized with ICSI. By Day 3 we had an 8 celled Grade 2 and a 6 celled Grade 2 and transferred both. I got my BFP around 7dp3dt, only to find out at 14dpt, my beta was only 27. The numbers never got above 150 and ended in a chemical pregnancy.
2nd IVF: August 2011: We retrieved 11 eggs, 10 mature, 3 fertilized by ICSI. On Day 3, we transferred 3 embryos (2 good, one not so much) and got my

Here is the preliminary plan for my cycle:
8/1 - 8/31: BCP
8/20: Water Sono / Mock transfer
8/27: Endometrial Biopsy to help with implantation
9/3: Start Stims (300iu Gonal F, 150 iu Repronex) (Is that a lot? We increased from my last cycle to try and get more eggs, since we don't have much sperm left)
Looks like we are looking at a mid-September retrieval and transfer! Wish me luck ladies!!! 
Update: 9/3:
Started stims!
9/3-9/6 300iu gonal f and 150 iu of Repronex, all intramuscular.
Last night, A little of the shot squirt out  I hope it wasn't too much.
Back on Saturday for monitoring!
9/7:
I had about 13 follicles, but one was over 17mm and 6 were below 10. I'm pretty upset at the huge range of follicle sizes...
They called me and told me take Ganirelix now.
Tonight I'm continuing with 300 gonal and 150 repronex.
Back tomorrow!
9/11:
Meds have stayed the same, but added Ganirelix on Saturday through today.
As of this morning, I have a 22mm, 20mm, about 5 between 16-18, 4 around 14mm, and a 13.5 and a bunch of 11s.
I have a feeling I'm triggering tonight. Any chance of those 14s having a mature egg by time retrieval?
9/13:
12 eggs retrieved!
9/14:
All mature, 9/12 fertilized!
Looking at a Monday transfer!!
9/16:
Transfer done!!! We transferred 3 embryos: 1-8 cell grade 1/2, and 2-8 cell grade 2. LI IVF does a scale of 1-5, 1 being perfect. They also froze 6 this morning!!!
Now when can I test?

As for the meds, it really depends on your response to them. Some women are on very high dosages due to their low responses. I respond well so I was only on 150 of Gonal F. Plus, adding menopur in the past has caused my estrogen level to be WAY too high.

My IVF Journal: Come on Number Two!!!
Due to my low ovarian reserve I was on a high dose of meds. 300 follistim. 3 menopur. Up to 4 menopur and ganirelex. Think they tried to push as much as they could without overstimulation. It worked I had 5 follies which is good for me. and 3 were mature made it to fertilization and transfer...;)

Thats how much I was on towards the end of my cycle- 300 Gonal F and 150 Menopur. I had started out on 150 of Gonal F but was a slow responder. I have 5 follicles that should all be mature by Friday for my retrieval. Follicles range from 15-22.There were some smaller also but RE didn't say the measurements. Hopefully with the higher dose you will get more follicles and have more to work with. Best of luck!!!
