My little girl has a fever and bad cold...
I am so sad right now (as well as exhausted). My little Sabrina got a cold a few days ago and yesterday after we went to a birthday party we came home and she had fever of 102.6. I treated it with Motrin and Tylenol and it came down. She ate a little at dinner and seemed perkier than she had during the day. Then the night was horrendous. Her post nasal drip caused her to cough a lot and constantly wake up. And then the fever went up to 103.3 during the night. I treated it again and it came down. She woke up a little clingy and cranky but quickly came out of it when I gave her Valentine's presents. She ate and was very happy and perky all day.
Today was her birthday party at White Post Farms and I was so happy that despite a runny nose, she had a great time and loved every minute of it. But then...we got home and I noticed her eyes didn't look good. I took her temp and back up to 101.5. I medicated again and I think I will call the ped tomorrow. I called last night and spoke to someone on call who said if she is eating, pooping, peeing and generally in good spirits, there is nothing more than can do
Sorry if this post is long. I am exhausted and need sleep and my poor little girl needs it, too, but she keeps waking from her post nasal drip, hence we are two sleep deprived parents
Just looking for some hugs....

Sam: I am so glad you had fun! We did too, but it may have been too much my little girl
After we finally got her to sleep, she started coughing so hard that she ultimately puked up phlegm and other stuff We tossed her back in the bathtub, got clean jammies, read another story and now she sounds like she is sleeping peacefully.
Please say a little prayer that we all get rest. I know this is insignificant compared to the other tragedies out there, but my little girl sounds like she can hardly breathe and Mommy and Daddy aren't getting any rest either
