My poor cat, Tiffany just passed away 3 hours ago. : (
RIP Tiffany 1996-2010.
She was 14 1/ 2 years old. She was breathing a little harder then usual, and had a stuffy nose. I thought she had a cold, she was eating and drinking , cleaning herself and was getting better. Then a few hours ago I got up to go to the bathroom and she had her mouth open and was gasping for air, we rushed her to the animal ER , it was too late. They told me this happens a lot and we did nothing wrong. I am so upset. I also do not know how i am going to function at work in a few hours. I have had 3 hours of sleep if I am lucky. My DH is besides himself, I am numb. and sad.

I am so sorry for your loss! I know exactly how you feel. We had something similar happened to us with our 15 year old kitty Samantha who passed away this past April.
Take it easy and my condolences

Thank you everyone. It has been a rough couple of days for us, and my other cat was crying in the middle of the night. I spent the other day crying all afternoon.

I am so sorry for your loss.... I too recently lost my 2 beloved cats (19 and 17 and 1/2 years old). They died 3 months apart..... I loved them both very dearly... I totally understand your pain
