my reflux/colicky 3 month old is addicted to motion HELP!!!!!
we tried to comfort him any way we could since birth and now he's addicted to motion and won't sleep at night.
the second you stop rocking, boucing, holding he wakes up for naps and now night is an issue.
he used to sleep from 9pm-5 or 6 am, nurse, and sleep till 9am.
NOW
he sleeps from 9pm-3am and then is up every hour and up by 6 or 7am for the day.
he's NOT hungry b/c when i tried to nurse him he'd puke b/c he was full.
he doesn't want the paci.
he is swaddles and i tried unswaddling him last night and it was worse.
what do i do? if i go cold turkey with no motion for naps he'll never sleep and my 2 year old will go bonkers from the crying (me too.)
HELP!

I dont really have any advice but just wanted to give you some 
I know what you are going through...My DD was the same way when she was your DC age,.,...I never did give her motrin that young but I would give her camimeal tea (cant spell) at night and that would help alittle...I dont know that that will take the place of motrin but maybe you can try it. I did 2oz of tea with 1 oz water just so it wasent to strong.
Also my DD was on Zantac to help with the reflux since it was so bad.

I understand the addicted to motion....up until I believe 4 months (maybe even longer) I slept on the couch because my son would sleep in his glider....I tried weaning him from the movement near that age...letting him fall asleep with movement on, then shutting it off...till eventually he didn't have to really have it on.
He had/has horrible relux as well.
It's hard, but it WILL get better

I'd put him in the swing for sleeping right now & deal with transitioning at 5 or 6 months. I recommend the sleep lady book for that.
