My rough, scary day....(long)
My day started out well, had a burst of energy and actually decided to hit the road for work ( I am a road rep). After seeing a few clients and getting some good things accomplished, On my way to see my last client (in Queens), I FELL! I tripped and stumbled and then fell flat on my hands, knees, and belly! I made the last appt quick and then called my dr. I put the phone in the door handle waiting his call back, and the darn phone got stuck in the door handle and I couldnt get it out!! I used my other cell to check my voice mail, where my doc left a message that I should go straight to L&D. After my 5 hr stint there last time, I didn't want to, so instead I drove, in traffic, to my doc's office. The midwife was there and she wanted to send me to L&D too, but I begged until she finally agreed to check me out there. Baby  is doing wonderful, he was sleeping which is why I didn't feel him (whew!) On the way home some teenager who looked barely old enough to drive cut me off really bad.
And now somehow, the plate of macaroni salad I was eating just fell in my lap! I think I will stay home and rest for the remainder of the night before a safe falls on my head

Thanks, I am pretty sure I am going to officially retire the heels now though , they didnt cause my fall, but they certainly didnt help me catch my balance during the stumbling!

OMG how scary!!! Definitely a good night to stay in and curled up in bed!!! Thank goodness its all ok, AND you got to avoid the ER, well done!!!
I agree, come to the flat side, I'm a recovering heel addict, I still wear them in the office a little each day but mostly I'm resigned to flip flops now....

I'm so glad your baby is ok.... I've had days as bad as that... sigh... I wish we would know about them in advance so we could call in sick!!!
The horrible day is now over... and I agree with the prescription above... go eat some icecream!

Seriously though. Wow. I am so glad he's okay! Be careful! I am very clumsy also these days. Hope today is a better day for you!!!
