Re: Nap schedule for a 6-7 mos old

DD is 7.5 months, I am a SAHM. She wakes up at about 7:30, BF 1 side, eats cereal and fruit, we play until she shows a tired cue, then BF second side and nap. Usually it's about 9:30, this nap lasts 1.5-2 hours.

Up and lunch around 12:30, and BF both sides then play/go for a walk/run errrands, then nurse her before a second nap, this nap starts anywhere between 1:30 and 3:30 depending on the day and lasts 1-2 hours.

I nurse her around 5:00 then dinner about 6:00.

Bed between 8:00 and 9:00. I nurse as part of the bedtime routine.

Re: Nap schedule for a 6-7 mos old

here's our most recent schedule.

Since I am a SAHM, times flucuate depending on when he wakes in the morning (anywhere from 7 am to 9 am). example:

7:30 wake up & cuddle in bed ;)
8:00 am 4-6 oz bottle
8:30 am 2 tbs cereal (mixed with formula) & stage 2 fruit jar
(I feed breakfast as soon as his bottle is over so as not to mess up his appetite the rest of the day. If I fed him later, he would totally refuse his lunch bottle)

10:00 - 12:00 NAP

12:00 pm 4 oz bottle
1:00 pm 1 jar veggies or meat, plus vitamen

2:30 - 4:30 NAP

4:30pm 6 oz bottle
6:00 2 tbs cereal (mixed with formula) & stage 2 vegetable jar or a meat 'dinner' instead (has rice or some other carb in it already so I skip the cereal).

8:00 pm 6-8 oz bottle & bed

Re: Nap schedule for a 6-7 mos old

We had a nice schedule until last week. She was taking a two hour nap after she ate her first bottle and then 3 or 4 40 minute naps throughout the day. Now she seems to skip napping one day and nap non stop the next!Chat Icon

Re: Nap schedule for a 6-7 mos old

We have a feeding schedule and the nap schedule goes along with that usually.
She eats every 3-4 hours, and her naps fit in somewhere when she's not eating. Rarely, her naps go beyond an eating time, so we wait until she wakes and then she'll eat. But we'll keep the rest of the day's schedule the same.

Re: Nap schedule for a 6-7 mos old

At 6-7 months, my DD had 2 naps and we fed her every 3-4 hours. The first was 2 hours after waking about 10 and the second was at about 2. She'd sleep about an hour each time. Because I was home at the time, We'd begin the schedule whenever she'd wake up.
