Need a dish to make ahead of time for a group
DH and I are going up to our Lake George house for winter carnival next weekend with a group of friends. There will be 8 of us in total. It's basically a sh!tshow weekend of drinking in the freezing cold So I don't plan on doing much real cooking while up there.
I'd like to make something ahead of time to bring up for dinner one night. Something easy to re-heat and will serve all 8 of us. I originally planned on a tray of baked ziti but I just made that for Superbowl Sunday this past week for the same group of people.
What other dishes could I make that is easy to travel with and re-heat?

This thing is heaven on earth!
I use lean ground beef instead of turkey and I use more sauce than it calls for. (I use Victoria's jarred, she calls for homemade)

We have a similar weekend coming up that we do every year. We've done chili, tacos, pulled pork, butternut squash lasagna.

Chicken cutlets - you could heat them up or have them cold on heros..you could even bring some mozzarella and marinara and make them into chicken parm once you're there.
Penne ala vodka
The ST Rice Ball Casserole that was posted above is delicious!

Would brown rice be ok to use? I read it should be sticky white rice just wondering if anyone tried it with brown.

I did. Works exactly the same.
