Need a GOOD trainer recommendation
I would actuallly like a few. I see many recommend Bark Busters.
I want to contact a few and explain the situation. I need to know that I have tried everything before making a decision to rehome them. I want the trainer to be honest with me being it is going to be such a big investment money wise for us right now. I just am nervous about whether or not I can do it on my own DH is a detective and works long hours and isn't home all the time plus we have 2 kids, one who is being currently being evaluated for ADHD and is going to need therapy and alot of my time. It might seem crazy...I dont know how I am going to find the time or strength to do this all on my own but I feel I owe it to my dogs. I do truely love them and this whole situation is heart breaking.
I just need to speak to various trainers, explain what is going on and see if they can help me.

Re: Need a GOOD trainer recommendation
not sure but i did the board and train over 2 years ago and it was i think $1500 so i'd think around that much. a big chunk is the boarding. they probably have a multiple dog discount! i'd give them a call and set up an appointment. it wouldn't hurt

Re: Need a GOOD trainer recommendation
From the second the trainer showed us what to do, my dog's behavior improved immediately.
No collars, just chains in a bag that you slam down on the floor...combined with voice commands to let the dogs know who is in charge.

my boss recommended a guy named Greg Karl 516-931-5705...i was going to use him but my puppy kind of outgrew his bad behavior. She said he is very good and honest and will answer any questions you have.

Re: Need a GOOD trainer recommendation
We love our trainer & she came to our house. Dallas is an excellent dog thanks to her. She is so knowledgeable. We paid $450.00 for 5 1 hour sessions (some were longer)
