need advice on potty training
Bryan is 3 and on Friday I decided to take the diapers off and go to underwear. He was in pull-ups for the longest time as directed by his daycare and it just wasn't happening. He would pee on the potty for us at home and not at daycare. I had off on fri so I figured the it would be a great time to try on the long weekend...
Well I can happily say he is doing great the first day he had 3X pee on the potty and 3 accidents in his underwear but yesterday he had zero accidents and 6 pees on the potty Last night he asked to wear his underwear to bed and he is still dry right now the only thing he hasn't done is poop on the potty. fri night he was in a pull up and did it in there and he hasnt gone since Im sure he is going to go this morn hopefully in the potty..
Here is my other issue, Daycare starts on tuesday. I want to bring him in his underwear, I don't want to revert back to pull ups but what if he is not pooping on the potty by then and like I said he is has never gone on their potty at school just on his home potty ( we have a little one.) would it be totally outlandish and out of line to bring his little potty to school and have them use that. I mean I am paying them an arm and a leg and I dont want to ruin a good thing ya know He is starting a new class on Monday also, with a new teacher but still I dont want all our achievement this weekend to just revert back to pull ups on Monday. I plan on sending him with numerous change of out fits and all and telling them to not put him in pull ups anymore- unless he gets diarrhea or something... Any advice?? I almost wanna just quit my job to get this underway
