Re: Need Birthday Snack Ideas for Preschool
I love the idea of the fresh fruits, with something to dip in (they make a cream cheese fruit dip I see sold in the supermarket).
At my son's preschool, cupcakes are ok, but sometimes they have ice cream sandwiches or Italian ices.

How about fruit sorbet cups or get a tub of ices from Ralphs Italian Ices (if they will allow it) ????

Re: Need Birthday Snack Ideas for Preschool
My school follows the health and wellness guidelines and they are strict...parents have brought in: fruit or veggie platters with dips. some parents have gotten away with the fruit dips such as whip cream, chocolate syrup, peanut butter, caramel. Yogurt with sprinkles, sobet, frozen yogurt with sugar free syrup, pudding wtih sprinkles, I had a parent throw a pizza party yesterday (ruined my lunch time) but the kids loved it...they have pizza anyway on Friday's so it was okay with the principal. fruit snacks, granola bars, I can go on..parents are very creative when cupcakes are not allowed. Good Luck and have fun!!!
