Need healthy toddler meal ideas
DS doesn't eat meat and he seems like he's getting sick of the plate of fruits and veggies I give him. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

Soups...my kids love soup of all kinds. Chicken noodle, split pea, lentil, minestrone, vegetable, butternut squash. They also like whole wheat pasta mixed with a little butter, parm cheese, and a veggie like peas or carrots. I make grilled cheese on whole wheat bread and add spinach or tomato.

What does he eat for protein? You can try scrambled eggs (you can mix in cheese and spinach or other veggies), oatmeal (DD likes if I give her some toppings to mix in herself), grilled cheese, quesadillas with veggies, smoothies. You can check out pinterest for ideas too. I've done little quinoa bites with veggies and cheese mixed in or potato and broccoli patties, broccoli rice cups, etc and sometimes DD will eat veggies that way she's not usually interested in.

Re: Need healthy toddler meal ideas
I would try adding in eggs...my dd eats scrambled eggs, omelets, fritattas..I try to mix in different things for a little variety. We also do hummus with things to dip in it. I make veggie bites using different veggies and something to bind them together.

Some things my dd loves: Pasta with broccoli garlic & oil with cheese, linguine with homemade clam sauce, baked thin slices chicken cutlets with panko, all soups esp homemade Italian wedding soup (lots of protein with ground chicken, or meat, spinach etc), spaghetti & meatballs, broiled fish with lemon over rice.
Peanut butter & jelly. Rolled up coldcuts, mainly boars head ever roast chicken, or turkey, ham.

I'm not going to make you a huge overwhelming list, but my DDs love grilled cheese in tomato soup. They dip it themselves , and they don't know I add butternut squash, zucchini and sometimes pepper. They eat that for lunch 2x week. Idk why but mine love meatballs. I make them myself so I know they're not dry.

My dd loves salmon when I fry it in a pan with some olive oil because the top gets kind of crispy. She also really likes when I mash up an avocado with some lemon juice and salt and put it on toast. She likes pasta too, and sweet potato fries.

Re: Need healthy toddler meal ideas
My kids eat pasta with either red sauce or butter, garlic and Parmesan. They love steaks, grilled chicken, meatballs or meatloaf, and they're yet to find a fish they don't like. I bake lots of different kinds of fish, they like shrimp scampi, grilled fish tacos, linguine with clam sauce, etc...
