Need help finding strapless bra for wedding dress
I'm having no luck. I tried on my Wedding dress for the first time with a great strapless bra (or so I thought) and it turns out, the back needs to be lower. It was a corset type of bra and my wedding dress is an illusion back so you can see through. Also, I need the front to be deeper as my dress is a true sweetheart neckline. I'm having no luck. The original bra I ordered was from Herroom.com
Any suggestions? It's hard because I'm a D-DD cup. Wahh

I know it is harder with bigger cup sizes. I had that issue as well. Is there anyway the seamstress can sew cups directly into the dress for you?

The dress has cups already that I want them to take out. The dress is a zip up and I'm just afraid that there will not be enough support without a bra. If the dress were a corset, I def. would just go bra-less.

Can the corset be altered?
I bought one on my own, and ended up having to buy a 2nd one, from the bridal salon, and the seamstress was able to alter it so it didn't show in the back.
My dress had an illusion back too, and the corset originally came up a little too high over the edge of where the dress went from white to sheer.

If you're on LI, maybe try Georgette's in Hicksville or Blums in Patchogue.

I got mine at Georgette's in Hicksville. It was a corset style, but it was pretty low in the back.

Re: Need help finding strapless bra for wedding dress
I am a DD and I got cups sewn into my dress and had no issues the entire wedding day. The back of my dress was too low also for a bra. Is that a possiblity for you?

Hmmm, I didn't think of that. I can ask next time I go if I still have no luck by then. Thanks!
