Need help from Queens Girls

I have to go to the EZ Pass office on Saturday morning in College Point. I also had a hair appointment for a cut and color, but it isnt going to happen if I have to shlepp to Queens. Can anyone recommend a good salon, with a fabulous colorist in the Queens area? Bayside/Whitestone/Surrounding Areas?

Re: Need help from Queens Girls

I heard Christie's salon in the bay terrance shopping center ( off Bell) does get color

you would just get off the cross island at bell- it's 10 minutes from ez-pass

Oh you will also be close to Hair on 14th - they are pretty good in there despite the receptionists bad attitude.

Yes. We went to Rockaway on Sunday night, and we got stuck. Turns out, my CC Expired, and I had a negative balance, and they revoked my account Chat Icon

So now, I have to go there with a letter, and pay them, to get NEW tags. They open at 8, and I plan to be there at 8.

I used to go to Chicky for color. She was great. I was never happy with any haircut that I got there and I tried at least 4 people.

If you do wind up going there, expect some attitude at the check in counter. Those women are total witches.

OMG - they are nuts. First - I think they dress to impress each other and the one with the fake boobs and tank top year round has no personality. Then there's the little short one with very short black hair who seems like a little tyrant. I could go on and on and I havent been there in like 3 years!

I agree, I never got a good haircut there, they are known for their color. Receptionists are witches though.

I only had cuts at Christies and it was nothing to brag about - certainly not worth the prices they charge to be treated they way you get treated there.

I have been going Studio Z -- CC & David did my last color/cut and I am very happy with them.

I will stick with my girl and get an appointment later in the day.
