Need help/opinions on feeding an 8 month old
I feel so uncertain with my feeding schedule. I think my pediatrician is a little conservative with starting new foods...and Im fine with that...but at the same time I feel like I need more directions. I can start yogurt this month with DD....but do I do it everyday???
This is what I have been doing...
7:00am- bottle
9:30- breakfast- 3tbs oatmeal mixed with formula, 1 jar of fruit and about 4 oz of a bottle
1:30- Lunch- 6oz bottle and veggie
5:00- dinner- 3tbs cereal mixed with formula, veggie or fruit, 4oz bottle
7:30- bottle and bed
So I was thinking about taking away the lunch time bottle and adding yogurt and start the sippy cup with water. I just was wondering if Im supposed to do yogurt everyday...and about how many bottles an 8 month old should still have a day.
thanks!!!

Re: Need help/opinions on feeding an 8 month old
Landon is just over 7 months. We started yogurt a few weeks ago. I give it to him for lunch with a 1/2 jar of a fruit or veggie. I used whole milk organic plain yogurt and I give him about the same amount that is in a yobaby container. For dinner he gets a meat and a veggie. Breakfast is oatmeal and fruit. I don't give him yogurt every day. if I don't give him yogurt then it is usually a jar of veggies instead. He has 5 bottles a day for a total of 30 oz - one 8 oz, one 4 oz, and three 6 oz.
