Need help with breakfast ideas for 15 mo. old
DS #1 is a picky eater and I swore I wouldnt let DS #2 be one. I have been giving him anything and everything I eat, but he just refuses normal breakfast foods. He won't eat eggs or pancakes. DS #2 eats oatmeal every morning so I have tried giving him that and he spits that out too. He used to eat french toast sticks but now refuses them.
I have no idea what to feed this kid. I actually still buy rice cereal and baby food and sometimes mix it up as his "oatmeal" in the morning to switch it up a bit.
The only things he will eat in the morning are: rice cereal mixed w/a fruit dry cereal (like cheerios or kix) bananas nutri-grain bars raisin toast w/cream cheese on it yogurt (which I dont like giving him in the morning because he has yogurt alot for lunch) oh, and he loves breakfast sausage which I make him twice a week or so
Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Need help with breakfast ideas for 15 mo. old
my daughter is such a picky eater too, such a pain in my butt sometimes, anyway she only really eats a plain eggo waffle from the toaster- no butter or anything and i give her grapes or bananas with it- sometimes ill give her yogurt and a grahmcracker- i know we dont have a big choice, and sometimes she even gets cheese and fruit- better than nothing right? gooduck! if you find something that works- let me in on it!!

DD loved this morning's breakfast. She had a crepe filled with bananas and chocolate chips. She also likes wheat bread with cream cheese and raspberry or strawberry preserves on top. She used to love scrambled eggs, but not so much anymore. She still likes her cinnamon french toast, but you mentioned DS is not a fan.

Also on weelicious.com - I just made these Pumpkin Apple Muffins tonight and they're yummy. She's also got other muffin recipes including a ham and cheese one if your DS prefers savory.
We do the following for breakfast a lot:
raisin bagel with cream cheese whole wheat toast with butter and honey english muffins waffles cheerios in milk scrambled eggs
If he likes sausage, why not try making a sausage bread with some cheese in it - take sausage out of casing, fry and spread over a pizza dough. Sprinkle with cheese, roll up, shape into a horseshoe and bake until brown on outside. I made him one last week, sliced it all up and froze the slices individually. Or what about some kind of breakfast sandwich - ie sausage & cheese on a biscuit type thing?
