need help with bridal shower gift
I am going to a bridal shower on Sat for a good friend of mine - who was a bridesmaid for me - though I am not in her bridal party.
I am getting a gift off her registry, but was looking to get her something else more sentimental or special in addition. Obviously since it's saturday, I have time constraints.
I thought about framing the picture of she and I from my wedding...but I feel weird about doing that as I dont' want to make her feel awkward that I am not in her wedding.... So, I don't think I want to do that. I don't necessarily want to get something engraved bc I don't think she's into that type of stuff.
Any other ideas of something unique/memorable I can give?

What about something for her honeymoon? I got a gc for dinner at a restaurant in Hawaii.
Hallmark has their ornaments out already so you could get a 1st christmas ornament.

I have this memory box from Bombay company & I keep my invitation, garter headpiece, etc in it. I gave this to one of my best friends for her engagement party.
I love it & it can be engraved. It's also on sale now.

- I've had a sweatshirt made up with "Soon to Be Mrs...." or "Mrs... Est. August, 26th 2007"
You may be able to have an embroidery place do this really quickly like today.
- I also put together a package once of thank yous all pre-addressed & stamped if you have her guest list or can get it.
- A spa day for you & her before the wedding. (place in a small basket w/ slippers & lotion)

Things Remembered sells wedding throws, you might be able to get their names and wedding date embroidered by theis weekend.

For one of my friends who had a honeymoon registry we did a honeymoon basket! Bunch of stuff for the honeymoon!

I just made a holiday basket for my brothers FW- her shower is tomorrow.
New Years - 2008 Calendar
Valentines - red candles
St. Patricks Day - shamrock garland
Easter - display stand for colored eggs
Memorial day, July 4th etc - stars & stripes kitchen towels & oven mit
Halloween - Frankenstein candy bowl
Thanksgiving - turkey & leaves wreath
Christmas - personalized stockings
I got the egg stand, bowl, wreath & stockings from lillian vernon.
I've made these for cousins & friends too using similar goodies.

i would say an embroidered sweat shirt, maybe some lingerie, garter, hmmmm, did she get her cake cutting stuff, cake topper? Vic Secret has a new Sexy lil bride line of t shirts very cute
