Need Help...those with sit and stand strollers

Should i register for a sit and stand given that DS will be 15 months when DD arrives? Will he be comfortable in it? I am registered for the first one in the pic but want to switch to the second one

At 15 months I'd do the Sit and Stand Plus with the removeable back seat. I just got #2 yesterday in the mail and it's great but my DD is 2.5.

I have both. I just bought a Sit & Stand used. My dd loves it but she's 23 months. I don't think she would love the Sit & Stand for an extended period of use like if we went to the Bronx Zoo but it's good for walks and the park. IMO, you will probably use both as I do use both.

Re: Need Help...those with sit and stand strollers

My DD was 14 months old when #2 was born. There was no way at 14 months she would be able to sit in the regular sit n stand. I think the age rec for the reg sit n stand for the older child is at least 2-2.5

I just bought the baby trend sit n stand when she was just over 2 years old and she loves it(so does mommy)! She's a peanut and even now when she sits in it, she still doesn't touch the floor of it.

I wound up buying a regular double then the sit n stand, if i could do it all over i would have just bought the one that converts and saved myself some money.

If I were you, I would purchase the Sit and Stand with the detachable full back seat. I have the traditional Sit and Stand and DD#1 was 20 months when we her sister was born. At that age she was fine in it.

Re: Need Help...those with sit and stand strollers

I would skip the sit & stand and just get a double stroller. DS was 20 months old when DS#2 was born and the double stroller was the best thing I ever got. I bought a sit & stand and sold it because it was a PITA. My older one never wanted to sit, and when he did, he wanted to sit and be comfortable, not just perch on the little seat. I STILL use a double stroller for my DS#2 who is 3 and my DD who is 1.

A friend has a sit and stand with a removable seat which is great b.c she used the seat more when the older child was younger then removed it when he got older (and still uses it when he wants to nap). Have you considered one like that if you really want the sit n stand? I can't see DD at this age sitting in the sit n stand now - she would just want to run all over - I thought is was more designed for 2.5 and up?

Noah will be 22 months when I have our second, but I dont think the sit and stand wiull be good, what if he wants to relax ya know?

Are you having another shower for #2? Or just registering for gifts?

I was thinking about the sit and stand with the removable seat...my son will be 18 months when the new baby comes, and I cant see making him sit in that uncomfortable seat...he is still going to be little, that I think he needs to be in a regular seat..

DS was 15 months when DD came along also. I had a tandum stroller and hated it but it served it's purpose. At 26 months I got the sit-n-stand and it is fine now. He liked it at first but now is he givning me a hard time in that too Chat Icon .
If your DS is tall then the the sit-n-stand plus might not be good for you because their isn't much leg room in the back seat. I know the Target by me has it and that is where I tested it.

Re: Need Help...those with sit and stand strollers

My DD is 16 months and there is no way she would sit without a "real" seat. I would get the first one.
