sit n stand strollers
Hi Everyone,
Just wondering who owns a baby trend sit and stand stroller? Do you like it? Has it given you any problems?
I debating between that one, the Joovy sit n stand or the one from One Step Ahead.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Re: sit n stand strollers
I have the one step ahead deluxe one...not a huge fan - it's really heavy (even to push) and I hated that #1 had to sit in the back - he was the one who wanted to look at things.
I ended up getting a side by side jogger and love love love it

Re: sit n stand strollers
The Baby Trend and the one from One Step Ahead are the same. The Joovy is shorter in length, and therefore, when the baby is in the infant carrier, there is no room for the toddler to sit since the front seat needs to be recline to accomodate the infant seat.
That said, I have the one from OSA and have been using it for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier. Mine were exactly 2 years apart and I didn't have any other double and was more than satisfied.
I'd order a Baby Trend one online, with a place you get free shipping from if you want more choice in colors. Otherwise, Target has them.

Re: sit n stand strollers
I HAD the Baby Trend one.
HAD... past tense.
Hated it. The baby sitting in the front cannot lie down to nap. Its not any smaller than any front-to-back double stroller, and what a PAIN to close.

Re: sit n stand strollers
I love my sit n' stand got it at Target for $119....my kids are about 17 months apart and it works out great..yes,it doesn't recline fully but I don't believe the joovy does either..it has a large basket and my DS loves sitting on the jumpseat
handsdown over the Duoglider- got rid of that monster

Re: sit n stand strollers
I have the baby trend sit and stand LX. I got it at Target last year for around $60. For $60 I am not going to complain. If I had paid over 100 I would not be happy. There is room for my daughter to sit when my son is in his carrier. But if she is tired there is nothing to support her. (I know not what it was designed for). The basic is difficult to access unless you take a strap off and do it from the side. It is long and with the bar in place for the carrier it is not always the easiest to maneuver. I think the foot pad is definitely big enough for her, but I wish her seat had a little bit more padding.
As I said for $60 I am not unhappy with it at all but had I paid more I would probably have went with a side by side.

ITA.. I had one and I almost left it in the city when we were there one time I was sooo irritated with it.. I hated the thing.. too heavy and awkward to push and the baby in front couldn't recline to sleep.

Re: sit n stand strollers
Yes, I'm very undecided what to do. I have the big graco stroller to use with the car seat, then I have a zooper smaller stroller, but I won't be able to handle the baby and my 2 year old daughter walking in the mall by myself. I think my daughter would like the sit n stand, I just wasn't sure what to get since there are not many out there.
