Need ideas for a great bridal shower gift?
One of my best friend's bridal shower is next month and i wanted to get her something other than something on her registry. SHe's going to Hawaii for her honeymoon so i was trying to think of ideas...
Thoughts?

What island in Hawaii? I just came back from Maui and can name a few amazing excursions you can book for them. I also love the massage at the hotel idea.

I got my BF ( I was the MOH) an embroidered
Lands End Large Tote
with her new initials and filled it with
-an embroidered towel
-and then a bunch of fun travel stuff
Ideas:
-flip flops
-fodor's guide to Hawaii
-underwater camera
-lip balm
-sunscreen
-maybe amazon GC if she has a kindle or itunes GC for ipod
-other travel stuff found in their section at BBB

Buy her a new luggage set and put stuff for their trip.....nice passport holders, sun tan lotion, beach towels, etc.
I also like the idea of the 4 wine bottles posted above.

I have done the same thing. I've done the beach bag, towel, sunscreen, book, etc... I also like to do a personalized "Mrs. So-and-so" bikini for my friends. One of my friends had a destination wedding so I filled hers with 4 bikinis and little cover ups.

I love all of these ideas. I just had my shower last weekend. I wish i had gotten a honeymoon tote. i did get a dolphin/whale watcing excursion, which is awesome.
My sister did one of those poems "You'll be entering a new ERA ( and she gave me era dtergent)...there will come a THYME when Doug is not MR CLEAN...give it your ALL..etc etc... it was very very cute. She read it out loud and gave me all of the products. People got a great laugh out of it.
For a friend's shower I bought her a Channa plaque. I plan to put it on a stand and wrap it clear.
I love the wines idea.
If they don't already live together, then what would seriously be a GREAT gift is a full spice rack. I realized I have to either steal it from my mom's house or re-buy dozens of spices when I move out.

i was going to suggest this as well.
my MOH gave me a GC for a spa here in NYC. it was for a deep tissue massage, mani, pedi and blow out. it was such a wonderful gift and i loved it!

Personalized Robes for both with
Mr. XXX (on his) and Mrs. XXX (on hers)
If you want them to be able to use the gift on their honeymoon order spa robes instead of big terry robes and add a gift certificate to the hotel spa.
