Need opinions on bed
I plan to buy a bedroom set when we buy a house. I was thinking of buying a bed frame to use for now. Once we buy a house, I'll use that frame for a guest bedroom. Do you like any of these beds? If not, can you suggest and post pics of something else? Since it will eventually be a guest bed, I'd like to stay under $500. TIA.

I can't see 1 or 2, but i really like 3 and 4.
If you live near a Steinmart they have upholstered headboards for around $200 that look really nice. Another option is to go to the Pottery Barn Outlet.

As lovely as those beds are - I would recommend getting a bed frame without the foot board. This way, you can maneuver the bed however you want in a future guest room, plus if you have anyone tall sleep in the bed, footboards can be manglesome. It's the reason my DH and I didn't get one on ours b/c we're tall and didn't like the idea of it cutting off more foot space at the end of the bed for us.

I like 1 and 4. 1 because it sort of resembles a sleigh bed which I love but 4 is really nice too.....hmmm decisions decisions...

im not personally a fan of iron beds but if i had tp ick id choose #1, which looks like a sleigh bed as well.

#3 or 4. headboard only. such a dramatic and busy piece, i don't think a footboard is needed.

I agree..the footboard for us would have made us crazy. We have a four poster bed. We didn't do a sleigh bed for that reason.

Ditto on #1 - I love the iron combined with the sleigh bed style.
That is EXACTLY what we are looking for. I'll have to keep it in mind!

I love 2, 3 and 5 (5 especially!) but I would go with #3 if you're planing on buying something in the future - it's the easiest to match. - But I would be really interested to know if you could get 2 in black
