Need opinions re: first B-day dress
I can't decide what to do (such pressing decisions, I know  ) I have these 2 dresses for DD and not sure which to have her wear.
DD turns 1 in 2 weeks  We're having a big party. The theme is pink/green & garden. So this dress would be perfect for her party:
But I have this one too (below), and I LOVE it more than the one above. I love, love, love polka dots and the colors are adorable in this dress (they're more muted than this pic shows, they look neon in the pic):
Which should I have DD wear to her party? The pink/green that I like that matches the theme, or the purple/green one that I really love but doesn't match the theme? Is it important that her dress go with the theme?
Also, we're doing her 1-year pics this weekend. I'm definitely going to have her wear the purple/green one for that, should I not have her wear the same dress to her party (not that it even matters, right?) 
Sorry, I know these are such stupid things to ask about, but I'm lost

Thats a tough one.. I love pink so the first one is adorable.. but when I scrolled down and saw that one I was like aww!!!
If you love that one than have her wear it for the pictures and the party.. who cares!!!! DD wore the same christmas dress in her pics and on Christmas..

I was going to suggest the purple and pink for pictures and the other one for the party that way you can use both. I didn't have DS is the same outfit for his 1 yr. portraits and party (I didn have intensions but he wore the same outfit for Easter and I wanted something new ).

From just the pics, I love the 1st one. I just love the dress colors.
But for pics she may look "washed out" with #1. She is very fair. So dress #2 may look better on her.

They are both cute, Bu I love the second one better too. She does not have to match the theme. I would have her wear 2 for both.

I just love, love, love the first one!!! I think if your party colors are pink & green it would be really cute to put that on her. Personally, I put the same dress on Marron for her party that I used for her b-day pics. I kind of thought that would tie things together, and would "match" so to speak. Since the dresses are so similar in style, I think if you put one on her for the party and the other for the pics, people may be like when they get the thank-you cards (if you're going to use the pic as the t.y.) mostly b/c they'll think they saw wrong on the day of the party.
In the end, if you love the second one, use it!

I LOVE the first one...like you i have an obsession with polka dots...but the first dress has the gingham pattern that i love too...so i would go with the first one  and i like pink and green together.
(2nd one is extremly cute too...again i love polka dots!)

I love the first and think it would be great with your party theme...why not have her wear both - one for a few hours and then the second a few hours later

I love the first one. I have the same one for Lily.  The second one is very cute too. I think I'd have to see both on her to decide which one I like best.
