Ohana (Polynesian) breakfast with Lilo & Stitch, Mickey & Pluto is our FAVORITE...they have a little parade every 20 minutes or so for the kids...really cute and great food
Crystal Palace (Winnie the Pooh & Friends in Magic Kingdom) T-Rex (Downtown Disney)

Re: Need recs on where to eat in Disney (from all the moms that have been there)
def book reservation on the 180 day prior to your first day...otherwise you wont get the date and time you need
--Crystal palace (MK) - we did dinner --Donalds safari (AK) - same charcters as chef mickey and I heard better food We got first ressie in morning before park..then we had the whole day in park! --Ohana (Polynesian)- that was my DH and I's fav dinner... delish! There is entertainment for kiddies too! -Princess Breakfast (Epcots/France)...all the princesses and 1 dining credit instead of 2 for the princess one in the castle...it still looks like you are in a castle. We also got 1st ressie of the day - entering a park while it is still closed is pretty cool!
I learned all I know from DisBoards/Restaurants
It was fantastic help..everything they suggested was right on! I wish I could have done all they suggested but ran out of time! HAAHAHA

Re: Need recs on where to eat in Disney (from all the moms that have been there)
If your kids like Princesses, we did the princess lunch in Norway at Epcot. It was a big hit.
Included in yoru cost (or 1 Table Credit if you do the dining plan) is a picture with Belle. Then Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel were all there. We enjoyed the food too. And they did a parade around the restaurant with the kids.
We always like the Restaurant in Morocco as well they have belly dancers and music. THe food is pretty good too!
Loved BOMA this time at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Buffet style with so much varied foods! The kids loved it too! Desserts were amazing!
We did breakfast at Ohana at hte Polynesian last time (with characters - I think Pluto, goofy, mickey, lilo and stitch - and it was good) this time we did Cape May Cafe and it was a really good buffet. we all kept going up for more! Cape May Cafe is at Beach Club and had Minnie, Donald and Goofy.
ETA: I love the dining plan.
We got the one with 1 quick service, 1 Table Service and 1 snack a day. We always have left overs credits to use. We usually do a big breakfast with our QS (last year we stayed where they had a food court so this made it easier) then the dinner is the TS and we usually dont eat much for lunch but you can get fries and chili (for example) using snack credits or a big pretzel and then we bring some of our own snack to keep in our bags and the kids are fine without a full lunch!

Re: Need recs on where to eat in Disney (from all the moms that have been there)
I didn't check what others wrote so I apologize if I'm duplicating:
Breakfast buffet at Cape May Cafe at Beach Club Resort - they have Goofy, Donald and Minnie
Coral Reef at Epcot - you dine around a big aquarium
SciFi Diner/Cafe at MGM - more of a lunch place - but it's pretty cool.
Crystal Palace at MK
I also like allears.net for dining suggestions. You can view the menus on that site.
eta: it's not always the most current menus but you get a good idea of what they offer...
eta one more thing - HECK YES to the dining plan!!

Re: Need recs on where to eat in Disney (from all the moms that have been there)
- Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom for breakfast....you can get a reservation for before the park opens and that way you'll beat some of the crowds to fantasy land.
- Donald's Breakfast Safari in Animal Kingdom
- Jiko or Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge...Boma is buffet and Jiko is slightly more upscale, but my 18 month old was fine there. Both are African inspired and SO tasty.
-Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge...family style American fare
-Ohana in Polynesian (good for character breakfast as well as for family style dinner)
-I didn't bother making any reservations in EPCOT because we just visited several of the quick service places around the World Showcase, but if you have a night for just adults, Le Cellier in Canada is really great.
