Need some healthy(ish) snack ideas.
I ate an apple AND a banana 45 minutes ago and I am already starving. At this rate, I will be 600 pounds before I leave the first trimester.
I need some ideas of what I can eat that isn't too unhealthy..

I have been eating lots of fruit, granola bars and drinking tons of water. It seems to keep me pretty full.

How about a lowfat yogurt? You need some protein if you want your snack to hold you over longer.

I had trouble drinking water too in the beginning. I used to add some lemon juice to it. It definitely helped. For snacks i woud have fruit, granola bars, low fat yougurt.

Ughhh...I know how you feel. I had this too. I drank a lot of gatorade and apple juice. My m/s seems to be on hiatus right now so I'm back on water for now. Feel Better

Re: Need some healthy(ish) snack ideas.
pretzels, cheese (string or Laughing Cow on crackers or flatbread), dried fruit...
At first I needed to eat several very small meals to not feel starving and therefore not feel sick. I'd have a banana at 9 or so (sometimes with peanut butter on it), then an apple at 10:30, pretzels at 11:15, etc.

PP gave you good suggestions! I also like hard boiled eggs, pudding or jello, pb&J on whole wheat, granola with yogurt and cottage cheese doubles. I also will have a package of instant oatmeal once in a while as a snack---fills me up for a good while.

Re: Need some healthy(ish) snack ideas.
First, in response to people who said water was making them throw up...milk, juice and some other liquids can count. Some don't (like soda) because they make you dehydrated, but there are some other drink juices that can count for your daily intake.
Snacks... Different kinds of fruits. I'm not a veggie person, but that's certainly a snack idea. I eat lots of cheese and yogurt. Nuts (pistachios, almonds) can be a good snack. Hummus and pita. Salads. I liked to have spinach leaves with chooped up hard boiled egg in my first trimester. Granola bars. And like others posted, drinking enough fluids helps you stay more full too.
