need suggestions for stopping the swing for naps

Finily I think she is back to sleeping through at night.

But still won't nap in her crib, only the swing & for only 30 min.

How can I get her to sleep in her crib for naps?

I don't know if my suggestion will work because of the short amt of time your DD naps for...

When my DD would nap, it would be for at least an hour...I gradually weaned her from the swing, by letting her pass out in it, then moving her to the crib while she was sleeping. Eventually she got used to waking up in the crib, then went down in it...maybe you can try that first. If not, maybe just cold turkey!

My dd did naps in her crib up until 11 months... I would give her a bottle and rock her in my arms on the glider she would fall asleep in my arms and then put in crib. Now shes good, ill give her bottle and put her in crib.. she cries sometimes but adventually just passes out.

Re: need suggestions for stopping the swing for naps

I used to let DD nap in the swing. But she wasn't sleeping that good and woke up after 30-45 mins, and I didn't think that was long enough for her because she was still cranky.
I started rocking her a little and "shh"ing then putting her in the crib. Then I started putting her in and just petting her head a little. Now I just put her in and walk out. Sometimes it takes her 5 mins or so to fall asleep-but usually she goes right out. Once in a while she cries and gets frantic. I never let her cry more than 5 mins (she's 4 months old)-and if she really gets beserk, I go in, pick her up and rock her a little and she usually falls right asleep.

I think if you try it cold turkey, eventually she'll start to love it. Even if she cries for a few mins, but then has a good nap, its worth it. Good luck! Sorry for the rambling :)
