Needs opinions on my "Eddie" tattoo in a few weeks
So Im a tattoo collector if you will and will be adding to my collection on July 3rd. DH and I will be going to get tattoos (not matching) for Eddie which Ive been meaning to do since he was born. Anyway, Im getting his little footprint, with his name somewhere in the art AND Ill be putting lyrics to a song with it.....Im between 8 verses and cant decide. Im leaning towards some more than others, but just curious which you would pick. Keep in mind, length of verse is not an issue. Please vote:
1) May the angels protect you

All good choices. I'm torn between three of them: 2, 5 and 7.
ETA: I think I like 2 the best, but I keep going back and forth

Not sure yet, meeting with my tattoo guy this week to work it out. In my head Im thinking of doing the footprint with a ribbon around it with his name in it and the have the lyrics read right to left but wrap around the footprint, so the footprint is in the center of the lyrics, with some above it, some below it and the middle of the verse running rt to left with a break in the lines where the footprint is and then continuing on the other side of it. The only downside to that is, when we have one more, Id like to add their footprint, but Eddies would be enclosed and then I couldnt add another.

5 is my vote--and my song with my Dad at our wedding. Beautiful song, amazing words, make me tear every time I hear them. They are just so true (Handprints on the Wall, Kenny Rogers).

Thanks to everyone who helped...I am 95% sure that itll be #2, #7 is my backup in case one ends up working out better in the tattoo design.
