Great to hear all is well!! and glad to hear Mrs. Rbks Sugar levels are on track!!

I had my 31 week sono last night to see if baby turned.. and he/she did.. head is down. Weighed 3lbs 7ozs.. 3 weeks ago was 2lbs 3ozs.. Things looking good and on track!! I start my every 2 week chk ups now. I cant believe it!!

Everyones telling me they think im going to go early this time around... but well see..

Had my work holiday party last Sat .. only went for a couple of hours and had a great time.. got to boogie down a bit.. as many freaked out seeing a prego with heals on dancing around.

I had my 33 weeks appointment this afternoon. I gained 6 lbs in one month!!!!!!!!!! How is that possible. Thank goodness I didn't gain that much the rest of the time I have to really watch myself the next couple of weeks.

My c-section is scheduled for Feb 2nd. I am a little bummed because originally we were going to do the 28th of Jan but the Dr wants to see if I can make it until Feb 2nd. We shall see. If I go into labor before then I will just have an emergency c like with my DS.

That's about it. I passed my 3 hr and my BP has stayed under control.

I am just getting very tired and having trouble keeping up with my DS. And sleeping is such a pain now.

On my camera my dh taped my prego butt doing the electric slide, but from Oct at a wedding.. Plus I was doing the running man and mc hammer "cant touch this"... Yeah surprised the baby didnt pop out then.

The christmas party just have pics on friends cameras of reg. dancing.. no crazy prego stuff.

I went today for my 35 week appt. I had a non stress test and looks like I am already having contractions. Now I have to go back every week instead of every other and I am getting a sono, a NST and my Beta Test next week.

We had to cancel my birthday trip to AC for next week. We didn't want to take the chance of getting stuck there. I am really sad we had to cancel.

Oh and I lost a pound which I thought was weird but the OB said not to worry.

hi Ladies!

sorry I havent been on in quite a while, work has just been nuts with end of year stuff.

I had my 33 week appointment last night and all is well. i gained 5lbs this month. my total weight gain is 45lbs so far. YIKES! I'm just hoping it all comes off with one BIG PUSH! hahaha.

My feet are starting to swell and they hurt- especially my left foot. Dr says it could be my uterus pushing on a tendon or something.

oh and the best news yet (not) I found a few stretch marks on my butt. only good thing is that the only person that will see them is dh. hopefully i dont get any more after that!

How is everyone else feeling?

Are we going to try for another get together? i would really love to meet you ladies!

Hi Ladies!

I have my 32.5 week appt today. I had my 30 week sono a couple weeks ago and he was 3lbs and 15oz. already! They told me he won't be a tiny baby...probably 8 or 9lbs. I figured, both DH and I weighted over 8lbs. I can't wait to meet him, the weeks are flying by! I really have no complaints yet, just some back pain every now and then.

We should assign text buddies soon. I'm due 2/22. I early feb moms can be the text buddies for the late and vice versa.

Had my 34 weeks appointment today. No weight gain and I only gained 1lb at my 32 week appointment. So far, up only 13lbs.

Blood sugar is well under control - I've even :::GASP::: cheated a bit with the holidays' and all, but numbers are still good.

Right now, they are still talking about inducing me 2/1.

I start going for my weekly growth sonos at 36 weeks.

Overall feeling pretty good. I've had the tingling hand thing this whole pregnancy, but the past few weeks it's been really bad. My right hand is constantly asleep. Dr. said nothing I can do about it except wear one of those carpel tunnel thingys on my hand.

Cannot believe this little one is going to be here so soon!

Well I don't have to tell you all how fun sleeping or rather lack of sleeping has been...otherwise just a little back pain and about 50 stretch marks ...palmers(3xday)=waste of time...maybe strivectin will do the trick after! Who knows? So currently the baby is STILL breech and I will have a sono in 2 weeks for them to tell me if he/she is still breech at that time, and if so, they will be scheduling a c-sec ...NOT my plan!!! So I will be standing on my head, playing music down low and shining lights up my vajayjay in the next few weeks trying to get my little munchkin to turn...any other suggestions??? Well stay well girls and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

hi girls! happy 2009!!! i had my dr.'s appt. a few days ago. i'm 35 weeks this friday. the doc (actually my regular doc's partner) wants to send me back for another U/S because he says my fundal height is lagging. i'm petite, so i don't know what he is thinking... he said as long as everything's growing "symmetrically, it's fine"

anyhow, i am starting to lose pieces of my mucus plug (sorry if tmi)... but no contractions yet, thank goodness. i really want to make it to 37 weeks (with DS i had him at 32.5 weeks). so i feel so uncomfortable at this point, but glad i am almost at full term. i am having dull aching down there. sometimes it's hard to catch my breath.

my clock says 36 more days to go!

Hi fellow Febbies!

Well I had my growth sono yesterday - baby is weighing in at a healthy 3lbs 11oz and we scheduled my C/S for Feb 23. I am secretly hoping I'll go into labor on my own just a few days earlier though (We have lots of Feb birthdays in the family)! Fat chance with my history but a girl can hope right?

Monday was my 33w appt- will be 34 weeks Friday...

Baby is head down right now...
no stretchmarks but I am up 26 lbs...
feeling good most of the time, just tired and not sleeping so well-as to be expected.

We are almost there!

WOW it is so great to read everyones updates. I just cant believe that the end is almost in sight for all of us. I have been in EXCRUCIATING PAIN due to the pubis symphis and now the baby being head down adds more pain. Ill take it though as long as he is healthy. I had a sono last friday i was 33 weeks and baby was measuring 5lbs 4 oz and 13 days ahead. I go back on the 14th for another growth sono so we will see how accurate this really is. 44 days to go and being on bedrest is frustrating i feel like i have so much too do!!

Hey all!

I've updated a few of you either via FM or on another post, but baby boy and I are hanging in for now.

As of my Friday appointment (33week) I was fully effaced and 2cm dilated.....and I'm now on strict bed rest. I've had some issues with my OB's office staff and this past Monday was the last straw....I asked them to get my disability paperwork filled out as soon as they possibly could because I'm now on my own with absolutely no income (baby boy's father has decided he doesn't want to be a part of his life and isn't helping us out financially anymore--but that's a whole other story) It's not a whole lot to fill out (1/2 sheet of paper, 3 lines, and just a diagnosis code---it would take about 3 minutes of someone's time to complete) and they said they couldn't get it done until this Friday. I went round and round with the office manager and essentially she lied straight to my face. SO.....I've now changed OB's and I'm seeing a single physician who has his own practice. I went to see him today. He was fantastic.

He did a full exam and said that I'm only about 80% effaced and 1cm dilated. He also said that the measurements are always very subjective and he feels that there wasn't any "errors" on my original OB's opinion. So, who knows what the heck is going on down there, but he recommended I stay on bed rest either way. So, here I am. The GREAT news is that baby boy has turned again and he's now head down and ready to go. I was SUPER excited to hear this!!!

My contractions have slowed a bit and become less intense since I've been resting, but they're still coming every 8-10 minutes or so. I have some occasional bouts of "painful" ones, but mostly they're just annoying and uncomfortable.

I'm working on finishing painting baby boy's nursery....he's going to have a Giant's/Yankees themed nursery. I don't have a lot of "stuff" to put in there yet, but I feel better just knowing that he has a room for himself. I just hope I can find a way to keep this roof over my head for the next few months till I get back to work. It's going to be extremely tough, but I'll figure something out.

I'm so happy to hear you all are doing so well! The third trimester sure seems to be kicking some of our a$$es, but we're almost done! Hang strong ladies! We'll be meeting our little ones in no time!

So Feb mommies - what do you have ready so far? What do you plan to have ready?

I feel so unprepared and lost... as if I haven't done this before...

Should I be washing clothes? Getting the nursery ready (yeah, I guess we should move on that)... buying stuff... it just doesn't feel like time to do all that yet but then again, I only have about 7 weeks left!

I'm sooooooooo unprepared!!! At least I feel I am.

We have not brought anything into the house baby related.. we are too superstitious. So the only thing really done is that the room is painted (and we just had to spend $8k to put a separate heating unit in there... LONG story!)

All the clothing I bought, my sister has and will wash for me, then bring to the hospital, or to my house. The car seat and snap and go are in the trunk of my car, DH has to install the base for the car seat.

I bought the Pack and Play, Swing and bouncy seat which was shipped to my fathers house and he will bring that to my house while I'm in the hospital.

Sukons did call and say the crib is in, but we will call them once I'm home to have them deliver it.

Other than that... I feel like I have sooooo much to do around my house to make sure we are ready for her to come home. Full nesting hasn't quite kicked in yet... I'm much too exhausted all the time!

Oh and I have to pack my hosptial bag, but have nothing at this time to put in it.. I so need to make a trip to Target!

Only 4 weeks to go for me!

i just packed my hospital bag... i am freaking out that i'm going to go early (a few weeks early) b/c i am feeling so much pressure down there. the NP at my doc's office said i'm 1 cm dilated. they had me go for a growth sonogram b/c they said i'm measuring small. so i get to the U/S office, and after an hour and fifteen minutes, they still hadn't called me . so i left. i had to pick up DS from daycare. i understand it's busy, but an hour and fifteen! that seems a little unreasonable. i have to call my doc and see if they really need this U/S done. i've had 3 already. i'm full-term next week! i don't think there's anything that can be done at this point! how are the rest of the ladies!

Hi ladies, haven't posted an update here for a while. Well, our month is coming soon, i can't wait!

These past couple of weeks has been pretty tough. I have increased pelvic pain, that I am actually on disability now. I am very lucky to have an employer that offers excellent maternity benefits.
I've started packing my hospital bag. Is it silly that I plan to bring makeup? I just know that it will make me feel better to have some color on my face
Still have not ordered nursery furniture, so I am a little freaked out about that.
