Yes a business can be fined if they are caught not enforcing a mandate.
Restaurants are threatened with their liquor licenses which is worse than a fine to lose that.
Quarantines are not a law either- you wouldn't be able to send you kid to school but they won't know what you do otherwise. I would never answer the phone to those contract tracers or the DOH. Some of my friends were getting harassed by them multiple times a day.
I don't answer my phone period.

Most people did do these things. For almost 2 years. And surprise, not only didn’t it work, but things are worse than ever (or so they would have us believe).

They want to make the choice that is best for them, THAT is what they want. Not to have a dictator telling them what they can and can not do and then wonder why people are fleeing for other states.
Washing your hands doesn’t make you not get sick. Look at all the people who have had Covid, I bet they wash their hands. I know some, don’t ask, smh, who never do and never get sick. Guess you do need to eat some dirt to keep your immune system up.

We have 3 vaccines, it's been almost 2 years, the new variant is milder, so someone tell me what is the freaking end game?
Is it when nobody ever sneezes or coughs ever again?
It's cold and flu season. Just like cold and flu seasons for years and years before.
Numbers go up. People get sick.
It's never ever going to end.
The vaccines aren't working like they thought.
So what will?
What will work?
Wearing a mask indefinitely?
Keeping kids out of school for weeks at a time because their friend at the lunch table tested positive but has no symptoms?
That is why people don't want to do anything anymore.
They've had it .

MANY will abide by ANYTHING that is told to them. They know this. Get back to taking care of yourself and have respect for others by staying home while you are sick just like it used to be.

This. People don’t want to do anything they don’t want to do. It’s like a bunch of toddlers having tantrums. I’m actually more for mask mandates than vaccine mandates.

People baffle me. No one wants to wear a mask, no one wants to get vaccinated. What exactly are people willing to do? Hell, people don't even want to wash their hands.
I am vaccinated with a booster.
I don't think doing something such as masking in a supermarket or entering a restaurant where you are there for a short time will do much to stop the spread. That's what baffles me.
I am also afraid that places will start putting restrictions in place against those who are unvaccinated. And I really don't see any health reason to vaccinate my kids at this time - it's still going to be here, it's still going to spread, they are likely still going to get it at some point...

You know what's weird though? After all these months of breathing the free fresh air like we were designed to, I put this on to try it and it STILL feels restrictive on me. Like I'm going to have a panic attack and rip if off.
But it's better than the other muzzles so....
