new mom - how to dress baby
i thought mom instincts would kick in but I am now confused with the new weather.
My now 10 week old is transitioning the past two nights to his crib from the bassinet. I am also not swaddling anymore. He has slept about the same despite these changes. He sleeps in a short sleeve onsie and foot pajamas (cotton not fleece) but tonight (cape-upstairs) is so warm (75 degrees) yet its too cool (I think?) to leave window open in baby;'s room (although I am sleeping in a tank and leaving our bedroom window open (at least a little while) what should he sleep in- is he too warm in foot pajamas? I am in a tank but will use a blanket which he does not have.

Re: new mom - how to dress baby
My 2 1/2 yr old is wearing fleece footy PJs to bed tonight. He has been all winter. I've always believed they need to be dressed 1 layer warmer than me and if I sleep with blankets, DS does too - and I dress him warm enough so that when the blankets get kicked off, he still has something to keep him warm (hence the fleece PJs)
Dress how you feel is best. During the day, I might just layer and take off/put on depending on how warm/chilly I was.

At 10wks I say put on a cottone pj outfit with a onsie and turn a fan on low to blow cooler air into the room but not from the window. Could you crac the window until you go to bed so that way he gets some fresh air and a cool down first?
