New Mom questions
So I have a few questions
How old was your child when they rolled over. One of my sons rolled over yesterday-he was 11 days old!
Those that BF and pump-what is your schedule?
TIA

Re: New Mom questions
My DD used to lift up her shoulder as if she was trying to roll over at 8 weeks. She officially rolled over just shy of 3 months. Did he roll from his back to belly??

Re: New Mom questions
My boys lift their heads a lot, and have really strong necks for their age (just shy of a month)...but no rolling over. I pump every 2ish hours during the day and every 4ish hours during the night. I get 8 oz total each session.

So does this mean your exculsivly pumping and no direct breast feeding? I was confused about this also...I was planning on alternating so my boobs dont get engorged if I pump and breast feed

I nurse at night (that seems to be when they latch on the best)....and just pump and bottle feed all day.

Re: New Mom questions
My DS was able to roll over almost immediately. But, it was a different kind of rolling over than he did at 3-4 mos. It was like he propelled his whole body and didn't have much control over the roll if that makes sense. It shocked me too though. I kept putting him in the bassinet on his back and he would wind up on his belly if I didn't put the positioner in! And tummy time - every time he hit the mat he would roll right over

Miki did not officially roll over until she was about 2.5 months.

Re: New Mom questions
Eryk began rolling over very early too... he always lifted his legs completely in the air (so his body was an L) and then toppled onto his side
as for BFing, I just do it on demand... I haven't been paying attention... I give him the boob and when he's done with them, I supplement with formula. I guess 6-8 times a day

Right when we got home from the hospital - they weren't latching well and I was nervous they weren't getting enough from the breast.
