new moms - oct moms? taking baby out?
when are you taking your dc out of the house? I also have a 4 yr old to entertain- I cant see staying in for the reccommended 6 weeks ? any suggestion of where to go that is less germy?

So far we've just gone to the ped and for walks. I'm tempted to go to the store but doc suggested waiting the 6 weeks. I couldn't imagine having a 4 year old that needed to be entertained though!

We went to a wedding. I was in the BP. If I was not we would not have gone. DD was either in her car seat or held only by DH, my mom, dad or me. Other than that she has only been to the ped or out for a walk. I am paying my neighbor to take DS to preschool for me 3 days a week so he gets out. We also have playdates at our house.

I'm going stir crazy but my Ped wants them home for 8 weeks cause they are preemies....and so only to the PEd we are going. But I try to take my 2 yr old out alone or with a family member almost every day....
It stinks that by the time they can go out to stores etc its gonna be Winter

our ped recommended that we wait till 6 weeks. I plan on taking DD out on walks...hopefully the weather will hold up!

we've only been out to the dr or to my moms or IL's house. i dont plan on taking DS out into public places until at least 6 wks and that too will be limited since itll be cold out.

At 7 days old, my son has been to the pediatrician, my OB, BRU and Costco. I asked the pediatrician about quick trips to the store and she said "fine" just keep the cover down on the infant seat and dont let anyone breathe on him. I cannot imagine not going out for 1 1/2 to 2 months.

Lily is 4.5 weeks...we have gone 2 parents house...dr....and a few stores..dr. says it is fine
