New OBGYN
I am not pregnant yet i've been trying for a while but I am looking into getting a new dr. I love my OB but he is close to retirement and doesn't deliver anymore. Can I get some recommendations in Nassau with doctors affiliated with LIJ(Katz womens center) or Winthrop hospitals.

Re: New OBGYN
Are you looking for a specific location?
ETA I see Dr. Nadel in Mineola, he is down the block from Winthrop. He is a solo practitioner so I am not sure if you are looking for a group practice or not. I do know that my cousin goes to Dilena/LoPresti in Garden City and is happy with them, they also deliver at Winthrop.

I really like LI Womens Healthcare in Bellmore. I see Dr. Frenkel but I've also seen Dr. Bashian and both of them are really great! GL!!

I've seen Dr. Duncan and NP Amy Newman. I like them both, but I have heard that all the MDs there are great.

I see Dr Altmann in Manhasset on Northern Blvd - she's affiliated with NSLIJ - as are the other 4 docs in the practice. Its the Womens Health Center at 1554 Northern Blvd. I've been with her since I moved onto the island in 2003 and have nothing but great things to say

I haven't met them all yet, but I've liked everyone I've met so far. Sanders and Bell are my favorites (so far).

New OBGYN
I saw everyone when I was pregnant (minus the new doctor they just hired). Our favorite was Dr. Bell. I was iffy about Duncan but she delivered me and was AMAZING!!! Her post partum care was also on point. Ostroff is older. The first time I met her she was a little cold but after that initial meeting she warmed up and is SUPER nice. Sanders I only met twice, she was ok. The NP, Amy is a sweetheart and answered all my 1000 questions when I called.

Dr. Plancher at garden city ob/gyn. I just switched to him this pregnancy bc I had a bad experience with my old doctor. My sister in law has been seeing him since she was a teen and he delivered her 3 sons. He's been so wonderful. The practice delivers at Winthrop.

Another vote for Women For Women -- I've met all the doctors and they all seem great. My primary (and favorite!) is Dr. Nicole Bell, but I also really liked Dr. Sanders and the newest addition, Dr. Smizer!
