Newborn poop question
How long is too long for a newborn not to poop? Gianna is 2 weeks old and hasnt pooped in 2 days. She farts a lot and stinks but no poop.
What can I do? Should I call the pedi?
ETA
I just re-read my post and I am sure if this ever came back to her in a few yrs she would hate me.

Deb... does she have wet diapers? What I mean by that is she drinking enough so that she isn't constipated?

Its normal. As long as she is not uncomfortable. Our dr said sometimes babies go once every 5 days.

Yes she is peeing with no problem. Every diaper change is wet just no poops. He tummy isnt hard and she isnt fussing. I guess I will call the pedi tomorrow if she doesnt poop by then just to be safe.

my ped office said to add a 1/2 oz of prune juice to a bottle of milk/formula...
worked like a charm

Give it another day, if she doesn't have a BM by tomorrow I would call the ped. But I wouldn't give her any juice at her age, unless the Ped. said so.
