Can you tell me where you quoted that information from about the diseases etc?
Not Milk
Most of the stuff on here is written by one person, Robert Cohen, who is he anyway?

I have done more research then that and for Andrew it is the best decision. It is not for every child.

Does your child have health problems that milk would aggrivate?

I did and he LOVES it!! I just switched right over one day to a full bottle of Next Step and have been on every since. I will not put Andrew on Milk until he is about 1 1/2 - 2. I then I will switch to Organic Milk.
How come? I never heard of that before? I am just curious to know your reasoning behind that decision.
Next Step is for children 9-24 months. I think milk is soo bad for you. That is why I am delaying it. Plus Next Step has more vitamins and nutrition then milk does.
Why is milk bad for you????
It is just my own research I have done.
Dairy products have been shown to make a greater contribution to osteoporosis, kidney problems, and certain forms of cancers. (1) In addition, dairy products are the leading culprit in food allergies. And low-fat varieties are actually more allergenic due to higher protein concentration. (2) In addition, it has been stated that dairy products cause a myraid of problems within the small intestines by interfering with intestinal permeability, thereby allowing large fragments of proteins to enter into the blood stream. This is also known as "leaky gut syndrome". This can lead to a host of physical problems, including irritable bowel syndrome, malabsorption of nutrients, obesity and mineral and amino acid deficiencies. (3) It is just something that I feel very strongly about.
I understand you feel strongly about this, and I am trying to be respectful but I think a lot more research needs to be done before you claim milk is sooo bad for you.
Why would you also think it is bad...but then put him on organic? Milk is milk...yes organic claims to be more pesticide free, but you are dealing with the same nutrition (levels of calcium, fat, cholestrol etc...).
I never thought twice about milk to tell you the truth, and I guess doing research can be good as well as bad...there is so much false information out there, and to make a claim like "milk is so bad" isn't really full of substance, don't you agree?
I will always limit Andrew and our entire family greatly to dairy. I do think milk is not the best maybe that is how I should have stated it.

I'm not doubting that it's a bad decision for him, just trying to know more since I've never heard of any of this, that's all. I am not judging what you do for your child by any means.

No but due to his eating habits he will get the best nutrients from this formula.
