Nikon D40x owners....
I have the standard lens that came with the camera and I am looking into getting a better lens before my twins arrive. What kind would you recommend? Where do they sell them? Any info would help!

if you are anywhere near NY, i can HIGHLY recommend B&H Photo. They are a HUGE store in the city - you can go and they let you use & play with the items before purchasing. EVERYONE that works there - in the photo department knows their stuff & will be able to help you. Each camera line has their own section & the people in that section know their stuff!

I bought this one. I wanted the 18-200MM from Nikon...but I couldn't justify the $750 price tag...this was a good compromise. I love it and I never have to switch lenses now!

If you are going to get a Nikon Lense I get one with VR (vibration reduction). I have the 18-55 and the 70-300. I'm very happy with them.
I found that beachcamera.com has good prices.
