What kind of camera bag do you have? Santa didn't bring me one so, I am going to buy one for myself.

we dont have a bag....I just throw it in my bag or my Dh backpack

I bought this one for $25 at Circuit City.


It's small, lightweight but padded and has small pockets for memory cards or an extra battery.

It is a pretty simple basic bag, and inexpensive. There are little pockets for memory cards, extra batteries, etc but it is still a small compact bag.

I have several SLR cameras, I have LowePro and Tamrac bags, both brands are good. Think about what you use them for. I like a lot of pockets for my filters, cable release, lens cleaning paper, etc. Some bags havea little zip out waterproof cover that you cna use if you get caught in the rain or use it somewhere you're likelt to get wet. Larger bags sometimes have straps to attach a tripod. Rockin'

Enjoy the D40X! I am saving money for a D80, but I am also over the D40X. I am so glad I switched to Nikon. LOVE it!
