My FAVORITE lens, I use it all the time!
same here, my 50mm f/1.4!
However, for everyday use and all kinds of situations, I probably use my 18-200mm VR more.

However, for everyday use and all kinds of situations, I probably use my 18-200mm VR more.
I am new to this, just got my D90 a few weeks ago. My dad bought a 50mm 1.8 and so far I love that lens too! I am signed up for a few courses coming up and get wait to get a clue

I have the 18-200 VR zoom and I LOVE it. Especially since DD never sits still and I can get great shots with her on the move when she's far away.

My next lens will be a 70-200mm VR. But it's $$$ I realize I don't shoot anything in less than 80mm with DS. He is too much on the move for me to "let him be" and take a pic of him.

I don't have a Nikon, but I have a similar Canon lens and I love it.
My next one will be a 50mm lens (and I should have gotten it for Xmas if DH ever listened to me )

Same here (though I don't YET have the 18-200 VR, it's on my wishlist for my b-day...I do have the 55-200 VR which I love!!) but I love my new 50mm for portraits...awesome!!

Do you guys know why I get a shadow running through the middle of my pictures when I shoot on Auto mode? I have the D5000. When I look into the viewfinder, it is not there.
