We used Legend Nissan in Syosset and had a good experience. Our sales guy was Carl.

I just bought my car in August. I went to Nissan in Syosset and a man named Mike helped me. He is tall (like 6' or over) and thin. He is about 45-50 years old with grayish hair. He was VERY nice and helpful. He was NOT pushy at all. I highly recommend him.

Stay far, far, far away from Legend. I bought a brand new Altima from them in July- and have had nothing but problems. They signed me up for an extended service contract even though I said I didn't want it (twice). They raised the MSRP of the car with no explanation. It has been horrible. I was actually on the news about it 2 weeks ago.

I would stay away from Legend too. I use to work at their VW Dealer. They were the worst to the customers especially in the service department

Stay very far away from Atlantic Nissan and Advantage Nissan. I had a horrible experience with Atlantic and the owner also owns Advantage. They had the wrong VIN on my paperwork and 4 days later told me I had to redo the paperwork because I could be arrested if pulled over due to the wrong VIN being on the registration. They said it happened 4 times that week alone!
We shopped at Legend for DH. While we ended up not buying a Nissan, we had a good experience with them. I know several people who have bought through them and all have had good experiences. Garden City gave us a bad vibe and the guy was mad with my negotiating. He kept saying one thing and putting another on paper. When I called him on it he got mad and I ended up walking out.

I actully was there in Febuary/March and I thought he was vey pushy.
I wound up buying my Nissan on ebay from a great dealer in CT.

We had the opposite experience. hated riverhead but did ok at smithtown! Maybe it just depends on the salesman you get.
