Then again I HATE Billy Joel, Elton John, RUSH, Etc., etc. and I am definitely in the minority music wise on this board so no wonder I don't get it 
I'm with you on this. BTW, NIN is touring again this summer - we're going to see them at Continental. They put on a great show; we've seen them 2 times in the past 3 years.

I am not excited in the least. I wasn't a fan back in the 80's and I am not a fan now.

I'm SERIOUSLY excited about acting like a complete goofball when I go to see them and belting out all the songs I was into when I was younger.....I couldn't go to their concerts back in the day b/c my parents wouldn't let us go (and wouldn't pay for tix)....me & my sis are going, it will be fun bringing back good memories. I can't wait!! sometimes you need good silly fun, and this will definitely be silly!!

Same here! I was 8 or 9 when they were really popular. They remind me of being young & having innocent crushes on boys & being silly with my girlfriends & I love that I am able to relive that even for just 3 hours!
Exactly. I don't like their music anymore. I don't listen to thier albums. It is a time to get all silly and act like jerks at a concert that I would have loved to have seen when I was young. It just think it is going to be a BLAST!!! Just reminds me of the fun and innocance of childhood.

I kinda agree.
I was a die hard in love NKOTB fan. I was seriously addicted and saw them in concert a 100 times, taped all their on tv appreances etc..
YET I have no desire to go see them and like Lauren said, slightly embarrassed for them.
Their songs sound liek a 20 ish yr old should be singing them.
I dont take a late 30 yr old seriously when they are singing about "girls" KWIM?
Ditto on all accounts.
