no resume
so the last job I had was 14 years ago .... I have been a stay at home mom and babysitter since then the last company I worked for is now out of business (I was in customer service and sales) so I am looking to go back to work now and I don't have a resume but EVERYWHERE wants one.....so I started to make one but its so pathetic.
what do people in my situation do? Thanks to anyone who has any suggestions or job offers lol

Re: no resume
Maybe look online for resumes with your situation. There are a ton you can copy from.

Re: no resume
I've done hiring for 2 small companies I've worked for, so I'm by no means an HR expert. I'm just giving advice based on what I would do. I would pick a resume format that highlights your skills first and then your work history. Don't leave the history out even though they are out of business. Just put the city and state that the company was in. If it was years ago, the person reading it probably isn't going to look it up anyway and it shows that you held a job before leaving the work force. Some websites say to refer to the babysitting as childcare and list it as a part time. Also, list any volunteer work you've done. I would use a cover letter to explain the situation that way it doesn't look like you are trying to hide anything. I wouldn't list any family responsibilities, because it doesn't look professional IMO (ex. managing the family budget). I know some websites say it's ok to do that, I wouldn't though. A google search for "sample resume for stay at home mom" will pull up templates you can work with.

no resume
What I see a lot of people doing these days is taking their old resume, then as most recent position "XYZ Household Manager" or something along those lines and detailing what you've done as the SAHM with the insanely busy schedule that you have. It looks much nicer than just leaving the gap in the years.
