Nook or Nook Color?
I don't know what I want here. DH is trying to sell me on a Pan Digital so I'm researching that. I thought I wanted the Nook Color but maybe I don't. Maybe I just want the basic nook. I have a smartphone so maybe I just want an E-reader?
I need some feedback/help.

Depends on what you want to do.
IMO....
Just read regular books? Nook.
Want magazine subscriptions? Books with lots of pictures? Nook color.

Thanks. I'm thinking I'll just go with the Nook. I'd love the magazine feature but not enough to go with an LCD screen that I can't use outside.
We ordered the pan digital as well so we'll have that for color stuff and kids books I suppose. I just want a light ereader to read books on and carry with me.

I have the Nook and bought the Pandigital ereader to compare and it wasn't comparable...Nook is way better! The only thing I liked more about the Pandigital ereader was the ability to reverse the color (black screen, white letters) and it made for easy nighttime reading.
This is why I am obsessed with getting the Nook Color!

I am glad to hear you are happy with the Nook. I think I am going to start with just the basic Nook. If I love it maybe eventually I'll go to the Nook color but I really just want this for reading books so I think the Nook will suit my needs.
